I'm using Internet Explorer and the Grade Center is acting really weird. What's going on?

The default settings for Internet Explorer cause the browser to play poorly with release 8 of Blackboard's software, especially in Grade Center.

Changing these settings should eliminate most problems:

Version 6
  1. Under the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  2. In the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Settings button.
  3. Select the Every time I visit the web page option.
Versions 7, 8 and 9
  1. Select Tools in the Internet Explorer toolbar, then select Internet Options.
  2. In the Browsing History section, click the Settings button.
  3. Under Check for newer version of the stored page, check the Every time I visit the web page option.
