When I try to log in to Blackboard, I see this error message: An error occurred in the authentication module: Error occurred while trying to lookup the current session or An error occurred in the authentication module: Empty ResultSet for the session query.

Both of these messages are an indication that your browser is not accepting cookies. The default setting on all supported browsers should accept cookies from sites you go to, but if you see either of these messages, check your settings.

You might also see these messages if you are connecting from off campus and have to pass through a firewall. Check with the network support person for your location to make sure your connection is configured correctly. If you're a network support person for your location and you're still not sure what do to, start a support ticket with us so we can help.
