When I try to launch LiveOnline@UT (Blackboard Collaborate), Internet Explorer prompts me with the following: "Do you want to Save or Save As". Clicking on The "Save and Run" as an option is greyed out. How do I get the application to run in Internet Explorer this way?

Technically, you can still "Save As" and then double click the .jnlp file wherever you happened to save it.

However, if you prefer, there's a setting in Internet Explorer that needs to be adjusted to ensure automatic launching of java web start (JNLP) files that are necessary to open an online session. Enabling this setting will allow the meeting.jnlp file to automatically prompt for file download:

1.    Open Internet Explorer; Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab, click on the "Custom" button.
2.    This will open a second window, "Security Settings", scroll down to "Downloads" and locate "Automatic prompting for file downloads". Click "Enable". This will allow you to properly launch meetings.
3.    Click OK in that window and the Internet Options window.
4.    Close and reopen Internet Explorer, and then click on the session link to re-launch your session.
