I copied materials from an old course site in Blackboard Learn, but it looks like not everything copied. What do I need to do? |
||||
Depending on the amount of material being copied, it can take a while for the course copy process to complete. After you have submitted the course copy request, you should receive an email noting that the copy has been completed. We have found that the copy process actually continues to run for several minutes AFTER the message is sent out, so please wait 15 to 30 minutes for the process to complete. It's important to give the process a chance to complete before trying again, or you may end up with 2, 3, or more copies of everything you wanted to copy over.
While you're waiting, please try clicking the Refresh button in the upper right of the course menu of the destination course site. Also check the whole course menu to make sure what you think is missing isn't just in a different position. Typically, content areas that are copied from another course appear at the bottom of the Course Menu. If you've waited 15 to 30 minutes and tried the above suggestions and are still missing course materials at that point, please contact the OIT HelpDesk at 865.974.9900 or http://help.utk.edu so we can investigate. |
