Many OIT applications, including Banner INB, require Java JRE to run. Java JRE is a plugin that works with Java and is installed with Java.

Ellucian, the software developer of Banner, has verified that Java 7 Update 45 and INB are now compatibleOIT recommends the 32-bit version of Java 7 Update 64. For Argos, the 32-bit version of Java 7 Update 45 is required.
