Follow these steps to install the Web Services Edition update for Entourage.

Step 1: Update your OS X and Office Installations

If you have not already done so, please make sure your OS and software are up to date. You can access Mac OS updates through the Software Update section of your Apple menu. Office updates can be checked via the Help menu of any Office 2008 application installed on your computer.

In order to install Entourage Web Services Edition you will need to be using OS 10.4 or later, and your OS X and Office 2008 Installations must be fully up to date.

Install OS X updates by choosing your Apple Menu, Software Updates, and Install All Updates.

You can check if you have Office Updates available by choosing the Help menu in any Office application and selecting Check for Updates.

Step 2: Install Web Services Edition

  1. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29748 and click Download.

  2. You now be prompted to download the DMG installation file. Once the download completes, double click on the file to mount the installer.

  3. Double click on Entourage 2008 Web Services edition icon that appears in the window to begin installing the Web Services Edition.

  4. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
